VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Hot Springs County Weed & Pest District is accepting applications for the position of Weed and Pest District Supervisor. The position is in Thermopolis, Wyoming.
Position Summary
As directed by the District Board, assist in implementing and pursuing programs to carry out the provisions of the Wyoming Weed and Pest Control Act of 1973, within Hot Springs County.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
Agricultural background, with either: (a). College degree, preferably with a major in agriculture and/or related field or, (b). High School graduate or its equivalent and in addition has two years of practical experience working in job-related fields of weed and pest operations. This person shall have satisfactorily completed courses in Entomology and Weed Science or their equivalent, from an accredited College or University, or shall complete these courses within twenty-four (24) months of the initial date of employment. Computer literacy is necessary.
Starting salary will be compensatory to experience, plus benefits.
